It was the dawn of the new millennium, after working and studying for four years without a break, I decided it was time for a holiday. Not just any old holiday, a CONTIKI HOLIDAY
  
 

My destination was New Zealand, a country that had interested me for many years. My next choice was which tour to take, and after considering all the options I choose the Grand Explorer Tour. This fifteen day tour goes from the Bay of Islands in the north to Queenstown in the south.
 

Over those fifteen days I sailed the Bay of Islands, parasailed Lake Taupo, walked on Fox Glacier, white water rafted the Shotover River, and jumped the Nevis Bungee...Just to name a few of the things on offer.  Oh and then there is always the people!
